Offering a wide range of specialist civil infrastructure design services to both private and public clients.
Hand-in-hand with our Structural Engineering arm, we also offer the full range of services from design to project management of Civil Engineering schemes. These may range from the development of roads and drainage for housing schemes to bridge design and marine works. Our experience in highway and pavement design covers the whole gamut of requirements from minor estate roads to heavily trafficked industrial parks and large concrete paved areas for storage purposes or aircraft aprons. Our Civil 3D software package allows us to readily produce sections and quantities enabling efficient balancing for cut-and-fill schemes.
Flood Risk Assessment (FRA)
We have extensive experience of providing FRA’s in relation to planning applications and feasibility studies for prospective developments along with the subsequent development of flood risk management strategies, mitigation, and flood defence design. Whether for a residential or commercial site, our FRA’s identify these risks and mitigation measures for you and evaluates flood sources ensuring your development is safe and compliant with flood risk legislation at the planning stage.

Nutrient Neutrality
Introduced by Natural England in Cumbria in March 2022, Nutrient Neutrality (NN) is required to be achieved in all developments where there is seen to be a risk of increased nutrient pollution within at risk catchment areas.Our engineering team work closely with local authorities, clients and planning consultants to produce NN assessments and mitigation schemes of varying scales for residential and commercial developments.

Drainage Strategy & Design
Our drainage strategies & designs work alongside the FRA and civils design stages to ensure both foul and surface water is managed effectively across the site whilst preventing any adverse effects off site through utilization of modern sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS). From initial concept design through to final construction specification, all our solutions are designed to adoptable standards and comply with the latest industry standards and guidance.
